There was a car the went in for an oil change at Tire Kingdom on Military in Delray. The person that did the oil change didn't speak any english and the store manager hardly spoke english himself, but that is not the issue and doesn't matter to me as long as they do the job right when it comes to peoples cars and safty. The person that did the oil change didn't put the oil filter on the car and left nothing in the place of the oil filter. The store manager pulled the vehicle out of the service bay without checking for oil, ask the guy if the work was finished or even check the paper work to see if the job had actually been completed before he started the vehicle. The store, I just found out today, fired the Service manager for this issue. The service manager that they had there was the best person that they have ever had at that place. She was willing to actually help customers out and was truely concerned for there safty and well being and the vehicles as well. The vehicle that the current store manager pulled out ended up coming back the next day on a tow truck and the customer was brought by a police officer. The motor locked up due to being driven without any oil in it. I also found out that the store manager told the little old lady that it was normal to make noises and the car would be ok to come back the next day when she called to inform him that the car was making a funny noise. This guy doesn't know anything about cars what so ever and should not be working in this field. The company on the other hand needs to start opening their eyes to see who is doing what and actually try to keep the good people in the company that the customers love. This girl that lost her job because of someone else's mess up knew more about vehicles then anyone else I have ever talked to at Tire Kingdom and was very good at her job. I know that I will not ever go back here and I am going to tell everyone that I run into about this situation. Tire Kingdom likes to place blame on the wrong people and not hold people accountable for their actions. This is a huge issue especially when it comes to peoples safty. This poor old lady broke down on the side of the road and nobody was willing to help here. She could have been seriously hurt or worse and now that the girl at Tire Kingdom is gone nobody will even care what happens to this little old lady.
