TITAN GROUP scam door to door canvasing fraud Fenton Missouri

OK, I'll start off telling everyone that I am unfortunately working overnights at home depot stocking shelves and have been for 3 months, while working here I have been sending my resume out every week about 3 times a day on monster.com.. Just a couple weeks ago, I get a call from this company called TITAN Group. I checked their website, seemed legit and professional, I setup an appointment for an interview last Thursday. as a note this place is way the f*** down 270S to 44 west to the second exit, for me that's about a 45 minute drive.

I arrive at the place 25 minutes early for their convenience and for my better looking quality. As I sit in the room look like a dentist waiting area with 3 people in business suits twiddling thumbs, 3 more people come in and sit down.. (This was a small place) I found it quite strange and I was asking myself (Is This competition?) The guy Justin who was giving the first interview was dressed in a suit and tie, came out of his office and called me in for the interview. From the look of this guy, it looks like he poops gold dollars, so I came in with pure confidence.

He laid out his program as them mostly marketing the Blues, Rams, Cards, etc, prompting the games at different business's (Oh and they said free tickets for employees...Right..) I was like ok sounds cool so far, I was asking about the benefits and how we got payed, we told me the benefits and that i would be making salary, (I was like d**n straight!) He said I would be contacted only if my resume would be better than the others or something.. (I found that strange, I mean, I just had the interview, hmm)

I was called Friday the guy Justin said "CONGRATULATIONS!, YOU HAVE MADE IT TO YOUR 2ND INTERVIEW" (Yea that was a bit strange of him to say that.. but OK,,) I was like great let me in A.S.A.P. We set it up for Monday.

I arrive early once again and of course more people sitting there dressed nice and looks like they are about to make bucks... all of a sudden, I get called into Justin's office along with another geeky motherf***er that was sitting there looking like he was a 17 year old kid.. I was like "What is going on?"

As I walk in I see 6 clean cut tie wearing suit wearing yuppie f***s standing their with s**t eating grins on their faces staring at me and this other kid, Justin comes up and splits us into 2 groups, he introduced us and said that we are going to be going out into the field the see what this job is all about all day for 8 hours, (he said again, different business)

I was thinking to myself, how the f*** am I doing this without getting payed? But I wasn't going to complain, I was going to act as profession as I could be, standing my ground.. We step out to the car we are car pulling in, it was a beat up toyota camry, when we got to the car, the three guys I was with took their ties off and shoes off, through them in the truck, then put on some running shoes, and they ask me "Do you have any shoes in your car?" I was like "no what would I need them for?" he said that we are gonna be on our feet all day, ok no problem, i am anyway

We set off driving and the camry is bent out of shape sounding like he's driving in first gear loud as hell while trying to listen to this guy explain things to me about the titan group, I'm shaking my head like I can hear him, but after awhile, I tell him that I cant hear s**t..

This is coming to an end, thanks for reading my rant lol

we end up in south county in Afton, they pulled off into a broke down neighborhood and the two guys in the front said "We'll talk to you guys in 4 hours" OK I was very confused at this time.. Me and the other guy got out, he smoked a cig, I asked him "What exactly are we doing out here?" he explained that it is door to door marketing,, that they are separating the boys from men and also told me that the job was strictly commission, but after 2 weeks you get commission with bonus's! YAY! I was thinking to myself, like, how the hell did I end up getting sucked into this, here I am in dress shoes and $100 worth of nice clothes, sweating my a*s off in the middle of summer.. I kept my calm, we started walking door to door, I followed as he kept bothering people..

After about 4 houses, I get frustrated, I start to think,

-I thought this was my second interview

-I'm not even getting payed for this

- I have work at home depot at 9:30 tonight

-I'm wearing dress shoes and was about to walk hours in them just to get a vision of how this company works..

SO.......

I man up.. I tell the guy.. "Hey man, I don't mean to be a downer, but.. I don't think this is for me, I mean I'm standing out here in this heat not getting payed and I didn't know it was door to door in the first place" He looks at me in total shock, like the life before my eyes was corrupt because I didnt want the door to door s**t, he said "well, can you get a ride from here" LMAO! WOW! Now I'm stuck in south county without a ride!!!!!!!!! so I tell him yea and walk away, I walk a quarter mile down Mackenzie hit the corner bar at gravois trying to explain to Tony that I need a ride.. I get picked up from Deanna, it's good to have friends all over lemme tell you what! she is coming to pick me up at the bar to take me to my car, but while I'm there I was like the guy in the movies almost lol.. you know, I just lost my job give me two beers and a shot of tequila lol

after a few beers she finally gets there, and I have a decent buzz, she took me back to my car, but i was balzy and had to come in thanking Justin for his opportunity

I walk in and he's asked me into his office, I told him straight up that I felt cheated and that I was sorry and the job wasn't for me.. It blew his mind and he was trying to get me to stay, like how I could be promoting within 6 months.. When he said that, I said "It was nice meeting you, thanks for the wonderful opportunity, but no thanks" then walked out

I'm smarting than most of the idiots trying to work with that s**t to make a living.....
