Same thing happened to me and I just filed a report as well.  Only thing is that they sent me a email letter stating "Due to the vehicle background and history, along with DMV restrictions in your state, it was necessary to have new ownership documents issued from another state."... well, I can get a registration document in GA in about 20 minutes with 3 pieces of paperwork.  Very easy, done it dozens of times for vehicles from 1940s to 1980s.  The letter they send said it could not be done.  what BS, what a BS company.

We appreciate the opportunity to help clients like the one who wrote this comment.  It appears this client purchased a car without a title and we were able to provide them with new and transferable documents of vehicle ownership.

Not knowing the specifics of this client's situation, it would appear they purchased a classic car.  Approximately 15 States in the USA, including New York, are jurisdications which issue only a registration title for classic cars.  This means those cars receive a special vehicle registration document from the State that verifies ownership.  This document is fully transferable to a new buyer or can be transferred to any other State within the USA.  This is what was provided to the client.
