TMC Restoration Formerly The Master Craftsman Re Upholstery of Sofa and Chairs Brampton, Ontario

Not fooled by your high pressured and phony sales tactics Brian!!!

Saw TMC at the Home Show and decided sign up to get a quote for a sofa and 2 chairs.  No stranger to getting items reupholstered over the years, I was absolutely jaw dropping shocked when Brian the questionable salesman quoted us $14,000 for all three pieces!!!  Rip Off! 

I cannot believe I allowed this man into my home and gave him my time!  I found him to be a "holier than thou" type with a condescending know it all attitude.  He was a bully in my living room, who did not even have the respect for my home to take his shoes off!  Over the course of the 2 hours he was in our home, he was very far from being honest! At one point in order to allow us to discuss the quote on our own, he left our living room to make a phony phonecall to "Mrs Kelly", at the same time scoping out the rest of our main floor (in his shoes no less!)

His quote went from the initial 14,000 to a mere $4000 by the time he left (still a rip off!) 

 I am absolutely amazed that some people actually believe the nonsense spewing from his sales pitch. 
He tried to take advantage by tugging on our heartstrings the moment we mentioned that the sofa and chair were sentimental to us and that the other chair belonged to grandma.  He was exaggerated, outlandish and downright rude when he left our home.  I put my hand out to shake his hand and said "thank you for your time Brian, really appreciate it".  Well he just pivoted, grabbed his fabric samples and left!  Didn't even say bye.  He was pissed he didn't get a sale from us!  He hurried down my driveway and got into his Mercedes SUV.  Let me tell you, driving a car like that is a sure sign he's swindling honest folk out of their hard earned dollars. 

(by the way, the fabrics are not any better than some of the other fabric manufacturers out there robert allen, joanne, avande garde for example)

 The first red flag should have been when he arrived and rather than a handshake, gave a "fist bump".  Not professional!

 After he left I looked TMC Restoration up online and low and behold I found a review right here on another site from a good friend of mine's parents!  Looks like TMC swindled them too unfortunately!  Well I'm glad we didn't fall for their load of hogwash!
