COMPLAINT AGAINST TOP3 MEDIA:

In late September 2012, I received a call from Mark h*o of Top3 Media in Singapore in response to an email I had sent regarding my services as an English Language Text Editor & Writer. We spoke at length, and according to Mr. h*o, Top3 Media was interested in engaging me to revise  several of their websites and marketing materials.

My first assignment was to revise the text of the Top3 media company brochure. I completed and submitted the revisions and was paid for my work through PayPal without a problem. Shortly thereafter, Mark requested I rewrite the SEO.sg website, which is a subsidiary or affiliate of Top3 Media. Mark advised me that my payment would be conditioned upon my work successfully  passing Copyscape, a plagiarism checking program, to which I agreed. Initially , Copyscape found some minor but unintentional duplication; after eight revisions, however, my work did in fact Copyscape as being 100% duplication free.

Top3 Media accepted my work and uploaded it to the SEO.sg website in January of this year, at which time I was assured that my payment was being processed. Both Top3 Medias acceptance of my work and confirmation that I would be paid the pre-agreed fee of US$400 were repeatedly confirmed via email by Mark h*o. To date, I have not been paid, although portions of my work continue to appear on the SEO.sg website.

Not having been paid as promised, I recontacted Mark h*o, who contrary to his earlier acceptance advised me that there were still some minor duplications (untrue), and despite his earlier assurances to the contrary, indicated that I would not be paid until these were removed or corrected. I reversed the process and ran my
original work through Copyscape, and found the only duplications on the Internet were my own work, which Top3 Media had uploaded and was using my work on the SEO.sg website without my having been paid.

Mark subsequently asked that I write a 400 to 500 word article on E-Commerce with a Keyword Density of four to five percent that would pass Copyscape. I completed and submitted an article that met all the criteria, along with an invoice. Mark h*o informed me that my submission was not what they were looking for, and that I would need to further revise the article in order to be paid. Despite the fact that my article met the criteria exactly as conveyed to me, in the interests of goodwill and anticipated future business, I agreed to revise the article, provided I was informed specifically of what was required and expected of me.

After several unanswered requests for the information, I ran my original E-Commerce article through Copyscape Premium, and found that it appeared verbatim on at least nine websites, several of which gave credit to persons other than me as having been the author.

I immediately emailed Mark h*o to advise him that I had found my article on nine websites attributed to authors other than myself, all without my knowledge, consent or having been paid. I further asked him to explain why my work was wrongfully being attributed to others. Not surprisingly, Mark/Top3 Media  has not responded, although my article has since been removed from the nine websites, and I have since payment for the article.

Despite assurances and confirmations emaiIed by Mark /Top3 Media, I still have not received payment of my  SEO.sg website revisions. According to the  Copyscape plagiarism software, portions of my SEO.sg revisions continue to be used on Top3Medias website About Us and SEO Packages pages. I have repeatedly demanded by email that my work be removed from Top3 Medias website until I receive payment.
Not unsurprisingly, my demands have been ignored.

My purpose in contacting you is twofold: obviously, I would like to be paid for my work, and any assistance or guidance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I also that by contacting agencies such as yours I can perhaps prevent others from being similarly taken unfair advantage of by Top3 Media, SEO.sg and Mark
h*o. I have more than 100 emails from Top3 Media and Mark h*o substantiating my statements herein.

Thank you very much for your time and any assistance you can provide.
