TOTALRIDE FORMERLY DISCOUNT CAB Fare cheat and overcharging while babysitting driver's kid in the back seat! phoenix Arizona

I accepted a ride from a Total Ride driver who not only charged me double what my daily ride costs and also HAD A BABYRIDING IN THE BACK SEAT!! He went o to explain that Total Ride has the rule to start the meter at $9.5 as soon as the driver reaches the destination when it has been booked. I informed him that the ride was normally $8 and I tip $4.  I called and spoke to someone who identified themselves as "Tracy" and a supervisor. She said yes Total Ride has a minimum trip fee of $9.80, and a $5.75 trip booking fee.

She did not address why the ride started at $9.50 and totaled for me $17.00 on a trip that normally costs me $8.00! Also did not adequately address the concern that a child sitting with me in the backseat was not permissible and also could be dangerous for a child whose ride could include strangers. I am very unhappy with this whole new method of operation for Total Ride and it's ethics. AND according to the Total Ride fare calculator, the trip should have been $10.00

The manager did not even bother to ask me who the driver may have been or the taxicab number. Just no concern or empathy. No interest in why this driver overcharged me and definitely no concern that there was a child in the backseat which could have been a liability for not only Total Ride but also a long-standing customer.
