Toyota Of Richardson screwed me around on fixing my car Richardson Texas

I know this was a long time ago, but I just found out about this site and people need to know how dirty these people are. Back in 1987 I bought my first toyota and so did my dad. We loved them. Then in 1991 I bought an Mr2. I loved it. I kept it for 9 years. The problem is once they sell you a car, they are done with you. In 1997,6 years later, the car would die when you would stop at an intersection or if it rained. I knew someone with a tow truck so no problem there. the car arrived by tow-truck and they kept the car for a few days charged me $1600.00 plus a rental car and told me it was the powertrane. As soon as I drove off the lot and had to stop, I am not kidding you, the car died! I was pissed. I took it back and they looked at it again and charging me more money. Finally I gave up for a while until it left me stranded near work. Two nice men drove up and followed me to the nearsest parking lot. It kept dying. I told them my story. They told me it was probabably a loose wire and that was all. I towed it back to toyota of richarson and they kept it again and said that they did not know what was wrong with it. I told them a loose wire. I found out later after writing the better business bureau and getting a kiss### call from the manager that they just hooked the cars up to a machine that told them what was wrong with it. My Daddy even had to go up there! Finally, I found someone who worked on cars down in Dallas. He kept my car over the week-end. Guess what? I got a call from him Monday morning telling me all that was wrong with my car was a loose wire. He took my car apart to find this. That is all they had to do but no, they where to lazy. Needles to say I have never purchased a toyota since. I'm not saying it was a bad car because it wasn't It was there attitude about it and treating me like crap and running me around since I am female. That was just pathetic that a grown woman had to take her daddy with her to solve this problem. I have bought a sedan and a sports car from chevrolet and my family has bought a truck, malibu, lumina,tahoe. And not had problems. I just bought a new sports car from ford never tried them but so far I love the car. The bottom line is peoples attitudes towards you. All they had to do was to refund the money and admit they were wrong, and fixed my car. Good god they make $100.00 an hour so there is no excuse in my book for that.
