My complaint can be best described in the following letter I sent to the company. I will continue to correspond until I receive a response.

To whom it may concern:

My name is Wanda. ___ account number XXXXXX. Today I had the displeasure of speaking with one of your reps. I reached him by dialing 1-800-981-9654 ext xxxxx. I believe his name is _____

I called to make arrangements for a payment that was overlooked on my part(7 days late). Upon taking my check information, the rep inquired about my insurance. I asked why that information was needed and I was reluctant to give it. In today's world we know there is a such thing as giving too much information. I tried to explain that I was not trying to be difficult and was interrupted with YOU ARE BEING DIFFICULT!

Well the conversation took an ugly turn from there. The rep became very rude telling me if I didn't give it I would be charged some type of insurance fee and told me to have a nice day and hung up on me. He did not provide a confirmation number.

I called back and the phone was answered with What do you want Wanda I found this very unprofessional and disrespectful.needless to say this conversation did not end well either. I tried yet a third call to let him know that he did not have a right to speak to me that wayand I was met with a statement about my making the other reps angry and told me that any considerations I think I deserved were reserved for people who pay on time. When I asked to speak to his manager he smartly said he would transfer me himself as if he knows there will be no consequences on his end.

This rep, once baiting me into a personal statement against him threatened that I was harassing him. I hope that your calls are recorded and some type of reprimand will be given. I'm not sure if this rep will mishandle my account now or in the future. Will the accuracy of my account be guaranteed with such an unstable person at the controls? I am not comfortable with him handling my account-he may have the power to misapply my funds or not apply them at all. He sounds very unhappy and dissatisfied with his job.

I would think that TranSouth Financial Corporation would like to be represented in a more positive manner. Originally I was very happy that your company took on my account but after this encounter I'm very uneasy. I left a messasge with his supervisor Monty Martin ext 53142 but have received no response. I will send this letter to all areas of Transouth and the Better Business Bureau until I receive a response.
