Transworld Timeshares International Scam Artists, will take your money and run! Fort Lauderdale Florida

Transworld Timeshares International are huge scam artists. In May of 2007, they contacted me about selling my timeshare. I had been searching at various sites online and must've entered my info on one of them. The fee was, I believe, about $700. They fed me a line and said that the fee was necessary by the State of Florida to rent/sell my timeshare. We fell for it. We gave them our credit card number with the promise that it would be sold and/or rented within weeks, if not days. Months went by.

We called about 3 months later after hearing nothing. When I actually got through to someone, they said that they were still working on it. They told me to drop my price, even though they said I was in the middle of the road as far as selling it. I did.

A few months later, no phone call, no contact. I would try and call them and would leave a message, but never got a return phone call. I emailed with no response. When I finally did get through, they always assured me that it would be sold/rented soon.

A year later I called and yelled at them. They said that they would put it on the priority list or something for no extra charge. I have still had no response. They kept telling me to calm down, that something would happen soon.

Here we are a year 1/2 later with NO phone calls about selling or even renting the dumb thing. I just checked their website and there is nothing even listed in Winter Garden, FL, where my timeshare is located. Only one even in Orlando. They have lied to me over and over. I just filed a complaint with the BBB. They already have a 'D' rating with them. If only I'd checked that before I gave them my credit card info. It's companies like this that make me trust no one.
