Travelbridge rip-off misrepresentation Scottsdale Arizona

We have been disappointed with the lack of response from anyone at Travelbridge. We were told we would receive weekly newsletters, showing discounted rates. We received two, when we did get through to someone; however, that was a one-time shot.

We have received cheaper rates from travel agents, than through the ones advertised in the newsletter we received. We planned to go to their Scottsdale office, but when checking in the phone book, they are not listed. We don't know if they are still there
or if the company is no longer in business. We paid around $3500. for this "service" but so far, have received nothing for our money.

Last month, we received a billing for $149. for an
annual fee, which we were not aware of. We don't care to pay any more money, with nothing to show for it. At this point, we are afraid that if we were able to get through to a "person", any travel or housing we booked would "not be available" either.

We feel that this company takes advantage of senior citizens, with their "90 minute presentation" that takes upwards of 3 hours - they keep you there, until you are willing to sign almost any- thing to just get out of there.

In a nutshell, we feel that we are not receiving any advantage from this company. We did try to book a room in Brainerd in September, but all rooms were conveniently booked (limited rooms available).
