Travlers Insurace Scam Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

We have used Travelers insurance for years, when we first bought our house they were the company already in place so we didnt change.

The first issue came up when they came out after we bought the house for an inspection and told us the stairs in the back of our house needed a railing, i told them there wasnt one prior so therefore one was not needed.

The second time they came out was after a wind storm tore down our side porch, they told us though it was a 5000.00 dollar job they would cover 498.00, they then sent it to the mortgage company.

The next visit was because of a stormy summer and our basement flooded, they came out and told us the sewer backed up therefore they wont cover it. Yet it wasnt sewage but a leak in the back wall. Everyone in the neighborhood had the same problem but those cover with Travelers got nothing from the company.

Now this year our bathroom sink clogged up causing a leak. We caught it right away and called a plummer. After he left we called travlers. We have damage to our bathroom floor, garage ceiling. We can no longer use the upstairs bath.

We have been fighting with them now for 8 weeks to get this taken care of. They sent out a company to check and while the guy was here he told us the instalation was soaked, mold was growing and the support beams for the tub were giving out.

Now we are told everything he said to us was a lie. They claim the damage was from a year ago, yet the ceiling in the garage never had a problem, the tub was safe to use.

I am sick and tired of this company thinking they can do as they like. We have been paying them for 9 years for no reason, they have yet to pay a thing to any damage to our home.

If anyone out there reading this can help us with this problem that will be great.
