Treehouse Marketing ripoff Provo Utah

I came across this website by accident and I am glad I did. Thinking I was the only one out there. Boy, was I wrong.

I had a very similar situation that happened to me. March 19 2003, I recieved the famous convincing phone call about the diet patch. I did not write the name down unfortunatley but in a matter of minutes, I was convinced that this patch was like no other and it will work for me. I recieved the patch around March 26th and was charged the $19.90 on March 21st. I ended up sending the product back within the 30 days regular mail. In the package, I sent a copy of the email that Turley-Thompson sent me with a phone number requesting a call when they recieved the package.

A woman called me and when I requested her name, she hung up but before she rudley hung up, she said that we have recieved the product back and you will not be charged. Well, on April 28th, I went into my bank account and to my surprise I was charged the $199.95. I immediately called Monterey Financial because they was a number along with the charge.

Well I spoke to Bret to submit my refund. He said he would and someone would contact me. Well within 24hrs, I received a message from Charmaine which included her direct number and she said that they have received the product within the 30 day trial and I was approved to receive the refund of $199.95. I called back and she wanted proof of the purchase. I faxed over my statement showing proof of the charge. I called Charmaine back to make sure she received the fax and she did and she said that I should be receiving my check for $199.95 by the end of the week which was May 6, 2003.

Well, after not receiving my check, I called on May 6th to see the status and Charmaine told me that the check would be cut Wednesday or Thursday of that week and call by the 16th of May if I did not receieve it. On the 16th of May, I called and they then said it would be mailed by Friday, May 23rd. I called again on the 21st to check the status once again and spoke to Kristen, the so called manager and I nicely explained about my experience and all she said was sorry for the delay but every case is handled differently and to call back in a week to see if they was an update.

I called again on May 30th and Sara told me they were backed up and to expect the check between the dates of June 9-13th. I called on the 13th of June and spoke to Sara again and she said to call back in a week because they had no update as to why they had not sent out the check. Again, I called on June 20 and spoke to Charmaine and she said it was never sent out because they are having problems with Monterey Finanicial.

I called again on June 27th, spoke to Kristen and they said that they had no update. Called again on July 14th, spoke to Kristen and told me the same...no update. Then I called on July 28th, spoke to Kristen, she said that she will bring it to the owners attention since he has not been in the office but call back by the end of the week. Called again on August 1st and spoke to Haley and she said that the owner has not been in the office the past few days and to call again next week.

Called again on August 6th and spoke to Haley again and she said they are still working with Monterey finanical department and it is still in process and she said that I will get a phone call beforehand to let me know to expect the check in the mail.

So after 10 phone calls I was about to give up until I saw this site. I want to see this company go down.
