I was just looking for a way to contact the manufacturer of Steam Buggy on the internet, since for some reason I could not easily find it on the box.

I had some unfortunate concerns and dissappointment about it and I wanted to be consoled. I like it when businesses and companies makes it easy and congenial to contact them about their products.

I ordered mine online at wonderfulbuys.com (on June 20 2004). I remembered an infomercial about it some months ago, and I had foolish high hopes about it. While ordering it they tried to get me to buy some restore-4, but I wasn't ready for it. I could not see a shipping price thought it concerned me, but I thought it would be just $79.99 and the shipping would be free.

I checked my status online with my email address, and it said that they were temporarily out of stock, but a phone call from the wonderbuys.com customer service lady (she had a bad english accent-could barely understand her) a day or two later said that it wasn't out of stock, but that my order was already shipped out and just informing me of that.

Later I noticed that an extra 30 dollars was taken out of my account. I called wonderfulbuys.com customer service and that same lady said that when she talked to me the time before, I had comfirmed to add the shipping charge on there, but I don't remember a thing about shipping charges on that conversation, she just told me that the order was shipped. The fact that the shipping charge never appeared was a technical error.

I waited another week for the product because the shipping company was messing up.

A lady for FED EX attempted to deliver it (on June 29-due date) in an unmarked van but couldn't find it and left, and my order online for FED EX was status as delivered. I had to call FED EX serveral times to staighten it out.

Talk about a crazy order. On top of that, the product was a bit dissapointing. As for cleaning and blasting away stubborn stains, restoring lusters, I can't seem to do that. The only thing it's probably good for is sterizing surfaces and fabrics with it's hot steam, if not its just full of hot air. Then again maybe I'm doing it wrong...

So I decided not to look at the return address but the painted on print on the cardboard itself. The closest thing I found was Tristar Products (is that related to Tristar Productions in Media?) I search it on the web and ripoffreport pops up and grabs my attention. I did not know that it (steam buggy) was a common foe. And that is where I am...

It seems like wonderfulbuys.com may not know what they are doing.

Is this a complaint worth fighting for?
