I should have known not to trust this guy, after reading about other bad experiences people have had with Tube Tone Amps from the Strat-talk.com forums. He claims on his website that the build time for his amps is four to six weeks, but that is a lie. I gave him seven hundred dollars to order a Deluxe Fender amp clone six months ago, and he still has not even started building it yet. His latest email said to me that he does not even have all of the parts available to build it, and will not offer me a Paypal refund because he "does not guarantee a refund, only a great amp." Well, where is it? I've been waiting half a year! Every time I emailed him about my amp's progress he throws me another sob story about his personal life, about why he can't work on any of his orders. This is highly unprofessional behavior, especially for someone who claims on their website that their turnaround time for orders is four to six weeks! It's obvious that he takes your deposit money and uses it on his personal expenses. By the time you realize what is going on and try to contact Paypal for a refund, the 180 days to file a dispute has passed! Don't let the pictures of his kids on his website trick you! Don't give Raybob Bowman your money to supposedly build an amp! He is ripping off his fellow musicians in the worst way possible. This guy needs to stop taking deposits, and take his website offline if he cannot build his amps!
