Ugly Duckling, Drive Time Selling Bad Vehicles and Reporting on Credit Ripoff Atlanta Georgia

I bought a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville from Ugly Ducking back in March 2000. I was told by one of the salespersons that the manager used to drive the car, so it was in great condition. For about 2 months the car drove ok with a few minor problems I fixed (brakes, and tail light. The passenger back window was too much to fix at the time, it didn't roll down. It was the end of May and I was ready to go out of town to take my kids to Florida (Disney). I went by the dealership to make a payment since I was going to be out of town for about a week when the payment was due. I asked the salesperson if he felt the car would make it. I told him I got a oil change about a week earlier. I told him I was going to get a tune-up, but since I just bought the car I was sure they did that. He said that car is just fine and you shouldn't have any problems. After I left the dealership, about a half a mile away the car started smoking and stalling. I pulled over to check it out. Come to find out the transmission was bad and had went out. It didn't give me any warning whatsoever. I walked down to the dealership and told him about it. He said it had that problem previously, but it was fixed. I told him I'm without a car. He said he would go half with me to fix the car. I told him if it had the same problem before and was supposed to be fixed how could it happen to me. He said there is nothing he can do about that, but insisted that I continue to make payments on the car. I missed my trip out of town and had to get a rental for three weeks until I was given a used car from my parents. about a month later they came and got the car and it's been on my credit ever since for $7700.
