These guys are relentless and there seems to be a lot of them. A lot of the emails are coming from the UK right now. One made it through my filters this afternoon and promised winnings from the Irish Sweepstakes. They are bogus hoping to get a lot of your personal information to give them leverage into your personal characteristics and receive further emails more finely meeting your background and financial needs.

The following is one of two that I received this evening. The content was almost exactly the same in each with names changed and different email addresses. I wish Yahoo would review the persons that they allow to give addresses to or at least monitor the types of emails being sent out.

These people are like vultures hovering over what is left of a financially taxed world. What they ALL have in common is the request for name, address, age, gender, mobile number, phone number, occupation, and country. If you truly won something, I would think they would call you or send a personal representative to your door to present a check.

In any case, I will continue to send messages about these as they come in. To be warned about this is to be armed.
