I had just built a brand new home and i had walked into the store on division street, i told the sales guy that i had a budget that i had to stick to because i had to furnish about 90 percent of the house.

well i picked out a bedroom suite and he gave me a price that was just below my budget and asked if that was ok. I said yes and signed and paid for it. When it came time for everything to be delivered i didnt get my headboard and i called to make sure everything was ok and i was told it was on back order for another week.

Well another 2 weeks went by and i called because i still didnt have my headboard and they said they werent going to deliver it until i give them another $158 and some change. I was told the salesman underbilled me. I advised i was given the rate i paid for because i assumed the salesman knew i would be back to purchase other stuff for my new home and he discounted the rate (which wasnt much at all).

I called repeatedly and repeatedly i was refused a manager and when i finally asked for the top person they said he wont be calling me back and i need to stop calling. Even though i have a signed contract i still cant get my headboard.

The BBB wont help me they just noted that i filed a complaint and now i have a suit against them in the small claims court which is taking absolutely forever. I dont want anyone else to be scammed by these people so pleeease beware.

Headboard not delivered

AUTHOR: Customer Service - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 22, 2009

Unclaimed Freight has been in business for 34 years, and has been a member of the Better Business Bureau for 20 years, with no unresolved complaints. Unclaimed Freight rectifies all legitimate complaints.

Unclaimed Freight sells only brand new furniture that carries the full manufacturer's warranty.

This customer did make a purchase at Unclaimed Freight. The headboard in question was never on the sales ticket. She did not read the sales ticket prior to signing the ticket and paying for the furniture she purchased. No one told her the headboard was on the ticket, and no one told her the headboard was included in the price.
