Unique Auto Works and Glass Repair Bill Not a licensed Mechanic who crashed my vehicle and refused to pay Internet

UPDATE: This "mechanic" is now somewhere in South Carolina after this incident occured. Below is the link to his PUBLIC RECORDS link to his mugshots. Please beware of this "mechanic" and know that is not licensed or insured as he ad states. He refused to pay for the damage of the vehicle.

BURGLARY/UNOCCUPIED DWELLING and other drug related charges on both charges

I went to Bill on a referral from a close friend because he did do good work on his car. Bill advised the engine needed to be replaced and said he found one for $1100. I handed him the money and he acquired the engine as promised for my Mazda Miata as promised. He was going to charge $400 for labor for replacing the engine. He put the engine in but it was no good. So he got the engine rebuilt and installed the engine in. He had his girlfriends son driving the vehicle and he totalled it and he did not have any insurance and will not claim under his insurance. He had the vechicle towed to my house which does not allow vehicles in the drive-way because of HOA rules.  The police reports states the fault was with girlfriend's son and I did not have full coverage insurance. He left the car on my drive way completely totalled mailed my registration to me without a return address and now he will not reimburse me for my totalled car or the money I gave to him for the engine. I also was out of car for three weeks and had to rent a car for two weeks. Bill is a mobile mechanic and the name of the Company is Unique Autoworks and Glass repair and they use to be out of Hudson. Now I am going to have to hire an attorney to recoup the damages so I can get a new vehicle. This had to be one of the worse experiences I have ever had with a mechanic. His real name is William I. Ammann and he also uses William Planikow or just Bill .
