Unique Insurance Company ranked #1 and #2 for HIGHEST Complaint Ratio by State of Illinois for 2005 & 2006 Chicago Illinois

Unique Insurance Company has ranked #2 and #1 for HIGHEST Complaint Ratio in the years 2006, 2005 of ALL auto insurance companies in Illinois!

Fact:
The Unique Insurance Company supplied a CCC Valuescope ( www.cccvaluescope.com ) "Market" Report of the value of my car that is systematically designed to under-estimate market value. The report lists an appraiser by the name of Kevin Porto. This "service" to the insurance industry assists unlicensed "appraisers" in determining a value for a car. I am a real, licensed appraiser. 20+ years of experience gave me clear insight into what this "appraiser" did in his report.

1. every single one of the 26 "comparable" auto sales were adjusted down by 19-60%. Every One! Apparently I have the worst car in the Chicagoland area - and that by 19+% In ACTUAL FACT my car is (was) in good to excellent condition.
2. adjustments made to his 3 "best" comparables were way out of wack. Adjustments for mileage were not proportional and he did not provide one with HIGHER mileage, thereby making sure he was not lowering in by the wrong measure.
3. every "comp" (comparable sale) was adjusted down. Again, apparently I have thee worst car in Chicago. One way to do this is to select younger cars and exclude older cars. Older cars would require and UPWARD adjustment. There were no upward adjustments. None.
4. they misreported that my car does not have AC or cruise control. That was $201 in options on one comp. Will they raise this estimate $201 once they know their error?
5. they do not include the condition of the car as an adjustment factor. They appear to include it but they state "Unique Insurance uses Condition Inspection Guidelines". Definition of said guidelines will surprise you. They are NOT based on my car's mechanical, tire, paint, body, glass, interior condition! They are based on my vehicle's age, type, and location. Nice slight of hand. The average of them all. Low and behold, my car was considered Average.
6. I guess I have no radio or CD player either. Was this guy paid? Probably $25.
Fact:
I was hit by stolen car by a hit and run driver at 3AM. I have a Police Report and all paperwork. They have taken over 30 days to even get me this lame "Unique Insurance Market Report".
Fact:
They are consistent, therefore, be consistent also.

Fact:
If Unique Insurance Company is successful in under-cutting this payout they will be stealing money from the church that holds the loan on this car!
