Ask for and received a $7,500 loan .. was told it was a new government program to help low credit persons .. all they needed was a 10% down payment as a show of faith which would be returned after 12 consecative
on time payments, which could be applied to loan or cash given .. after all the paper work was turned in and approved, told that the money would be in my account in 1-3 hours ...
when I checked the next day, no money was received, I called and talked to a Wayne Marshall, which he said he was my case worker, and he told me that he would check on what was going on, and he came back and told me that they need $270 for taxes ... after all the receipts we faxed, he told me that the money would be there by midnight that day ... when I checked the monies were not there again ... when I called to find out, no calls were returned or Wayne would not answer his phone ...
Upon checking for scams, I could not find anything on United American Financial .. So I checked the CEO Elliot Jeffries (Chairman & CEO) and found his name along with a Karen Kamilly (Head Accountant of Financial
Dept); reported as a rip off company ..Names that need to be added are Willian Roberts (President); Katherine Ataturk (Supervisor); Wayne Marshall
(agent) ...
I did send an email to the actual United American Financial, letting them know that someone was using their companies name for rip off or scam, but as of this time, I have not had a reply ...
I am out appoximently $1000 because of this ... so beware of this compnay

As a matter of fact concerning these types of loans

they are illegal in the US, so you had to send money to Canada or some other country. It's called an "advance fee" loan, so now, unfortunately you know the dirty details!

Classic Scam....

The classic tip off that you are dealing with a scam is if you are asked to provide money up front for any sort of loan. No legitimate firm would ask this...Contact your bank ASAP and file fraud charges...the sooner the better.
