Back in August of 2006 I co-signed for an uncle of mine on the purchase of used car. Car payment was to be paid every 16th of each month, I have purchased several vehicles in my time and never have I spoken to such unconsidered people in my life.

If car payment is not posted to the account by 5:00pm on one day before the due, on the same due date it self I am receiving call to both my home and place of business, and not only that if I choice not to take their calls, they immediately start to contact my references, and without any regard for my privacy let them know that I am severely behind on my car payment. On one accession I spoke with the branch manager her self, hoping she would understand the situation with the payment, she did not take one second of her time to hear me out and told me my vehicle would be out for repossession if they did not receive my payment by 5:00pm. I did my best to make a payment over the phone since the nearest branch is a 45 min drive for me, and that was not possible since they did not have access to that service. None the less she went on to tell me Learn how to be a man and manage your money right this after I told her I had to pay my mortgage and primary vehicle first.

By the way I did say I co-signed for my uncle, that never was the case, some how I turned out to be the main borrower @ 24.99% I purchased my primary vehicle brand new in 2004 at a Ford Dealer and paid 0.00%. UACC needs better collection tactics. I have tried to speak to some one higher in their Corp in Newport Ca, but till this day no luck.

I'm Sure I'll be getting a call from Miss Anderson on this and every 16th of the month.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

cry uncle!

Why are you mad at UACC? You should be upset at your uncle. He is the one that is supposed to pay this on time. He does not. You chose to get into the finance business and get him a loan. Why? You understood that no lender would take a credit risk on your uncle, yet you did, presumably without any banking experience. And now you are surprised that he didnt pay on time. And you are surprised further that you signed the loan and dont pay it, get collection calls and are offended. Why don't you get your uncle to refinance this somewhere else and get you out of the loop? You need to rethink your position.
