Wow is this a bad bank. It was once a good place but no more. It is a small Michigan based bank that was supposed to be good for the community. Stock symbol is UBMI.OB.  I wish I could short it.  If toxic waste is good for the community, then so is United Bank and Trust.  The tellers act like they have MBAs from Harvard.  From top to bottom, customer service is non existent. Errors are common in my experience followed up by rudeness.  Ah, it is my money not yours. This is your mistake not mine.  Blameless and brainless are two words that explain my feelings for the clowns at United Bank and Trust. My experience is specifically with the State Street Branch, the Dexter branch, and upper management. Don't be misled as I was about the local flavor. It is a con, a hustle, and a bait and switch.  You are a nameless, faceless account number to the lifeless zombies beyond the counter at United Bank and Trust.  There are so many other banks that can assist you in Ann Arbor but if you like bad customer service, rude employees, and mistakes, then this is the place for you based on my experience.
