United Bank United Bank- Winchester, Virginia Cash deposits were not placed in individuals accounts when given to the tellers. The manager knew of the problem, but covered up the acts of theft. Winchester, Virginia

     Over the past few months, cash deposits have been made at the United Bank Valley AV., Winchester, Virginia branch.  The teller took the money and pretended to deposit it.  However, the deposits have not shown up in the account. 

     Complaints have been made to the manager, but are not seriously investigated.  Others, also, have reported their money missing.  The amount is in the hundreds.

     Complaints have been made to law enforcement.  Beware of the deception by the teller.  We will continue to notify the public.  If deposits are going into incorrect accounts it is gross incompetence.  Out right theft is a crime.
