United Cash Loans tried numerous times to take a payment out of my checking account without my knowing or permission, leaving my account in a negative balence, and fees from my bank. I placed a stop payment for ach on my account, and tried to get contact information for this company.

I was called on my job recently by a United Cash Loans representative informing me of an outstanding balence. I was asked if I had a debit or credit card to make this payment. I explain to them that I didn't have any of these things; then I was asked if I had a friend or relative that would let me use their credit/debit card and that payments will only be taken out if I called and scheduled them.

I was told about a pre-paid debit card also. I wanted to make payments on this account and was going to look into getting a pre-paid debit card. I kept in contact with the representative, to make sure that they knew I was willing to handle this. Recently, I got another call from a United Cash Loan representative, at work, he left a number with the secretary, didn't tell where he was calling from and was very short with her. I returned his call. Without him asking me if I had already talk to someone there, or if I had made arrangements to make this payment, and what would be suitable for me, he tells me that it took me 22 days to get back in contact with them. He told me that I wasn't trying hard enough, brought my job up and said that if I told my supervisor that I was trying he'd say that I wasn't trying hard enough.

Needless to say, at that point I got angry. I kept telling him that I want to do the arrangement that was offered to me by a representative that I had spoken to earlier. He placed me on hold and I was talking to another guy. I told him what was going on....i also told him that I had spoken to someone from his company. He said that he had no records of that in his system. I told him well I have records of that from my personal phone bill showing the number that i had call how long the call was...and a phone log from my job. He said that they were going to send it to a third party collector and that I needed a lawyer.

I am being responsible for my actions and decisions made in the past, if I didn't want to pay these people I would not return their phone call. I don't think forcing someone into making a payment with money that they don't have is practicing good ethics. They are rude and don't care about anybody's financial situation or circumstances. Please do something about this. I want to pay the bill, but I don't want to be treated like I am worthless because of a mistake I made.
