I had my battle of wits with this company and I'm very proud to say that I won. I'm posting here to tell you how its done incase this happens (or happened) to you.

Contact Mastercard International (they have a web site where you can email them) and ask for information about United Financial (or who ever called you offering a Mastercard). Mastercard Int will respond with an email stating that United Financial is not an issuer and is in no way affiliated with their company.

Print this email and staple it to a letter to your bank. In this letter simply state what has happened to you and that you want the debit reversed. My bank had my money back in less than 5 working days! :c)
