United Legal Investagations they harassed and threatened me Los Angeles California

I received a call from 818-688-7215 at my place of work. It was a man named Matthew Hall with a thick Indian accent and that he was going to download case # to my State attorney general's office. He said he was calling from United Legal Investigations. He stated that I had 3 different charges against me: Violation of a Federal Bank regulation (now how could I do that as a consumer????), check fraud and a test by deception (what is that??) for a payday loan that I took out.

I asked if he could transfer me to a supervisor to confirm his info, a man named Sam Parker (which also had a thick Indian accent) came on the line. He was really nice, but he kept putting me on hold stating that he was talking to his directors to see if he could get the amount lowered. I started asking why this was 2008 and they wanted something from 2004????? and he just started repeating the same thing as Matthew and that is I did not give them an answer as to whether I wanted to resolve it, they were going to 'download' my information with my SS# to the Attorney General of Delaware and that I would go to jail; and that then the police were going to come to my place of business to 'arrest' me.

He started to repeat again how I was in violation of Federal laws and stuff, so I told them I would call them back. I finally hung up and called an attorney friend of mine and she gave me this website to look up with stories VERY similar to mine....I am going to call them back and tell them that if they don't stop harrassing me then they will be reported to the BBB and Atty Gen with legal meaures to abide by with a fraudulent scam investigation.
