It all started on June 22nd when the movers we thought were from North America Moving Systems of Jersey City New Jersey located at 862 Newark Avenue, STE 104 showed up 3 hours late from the time they were supposed to arrive.

The crew was made up the driver " Izzy" and three others who could barely speak english when I was told they would by the Sales personal at N.A Frank Mayo.
They showed up with two trucks at our NJ location. We were told we had to pay for the tape that is used to keep the blankets secured to our furniture? In addition we had to pay to have our items such as mirrors, pictures, prints wrapped by the " movers" and that the cost is very minimum. It was not! In fact it cost over $3000. We watched patiently as each person used 1/2 rolls of tape to wrap up each item. We each took turns watching in the house and at the truck as our items were removed from the apartment. 3 hours into the pick up we bought 3 pizza's and drinks for the entire crew. While I was at the truck, "IZZY" the ring leaded asked me if I would financially take care of his guys because they do not earn alot from their job?

After everything was done ( 5 hours later, they did an incredible job) we were all off to our econd location in PA.

We all arrived around 8PM fighting traffic on a Friday. As the truck was filing up towrds 11PM they realized a fouth truck would be needed. Key items were left off such as our dining room table, Queen sleeper sofa, 2 upholstered arm chairs, Antiques, our La-Z-boy recliner, set of mattress, excercise equipment, clothes, Tools, Back yard items, office equipment, area rugs, window coverings and 15 additional boxes with personal belongings. He know requested the next deposit of 60% that was left on the balance from the previos deposit we left.

Since it was 1am in the morning of Saturday June 23rd and we all could barely stay away we paid him what the paper work read.

After a good nights sleep we realized the next day that the trucks they billed us for were smaller than what they had sent. This meant we paid them in full, they had all our items and they were going to "owe" us money. In addition, we had to Pay for the tape, cratings, and all additional boxes. We thought the additioanl charges were too high, and we were already intening on tipping his crew. He asked us not too, and to pay him which we did by personal check made payable for $500.00 and Cash for $500.00 more and he said " I love May Guys" they are my family. I will pay them.

The next day we notified the bank and cancelled the check. After speaking with the original company we hired ...oh by the way Izzy and his crew work for United noth North America. We spoke to Bill who claims to be the companies "President. We expained how we called Budget and their largest truck in thei fleet was smalled than the trucks were were quoted for. After great negotiating, we settled on a number. Bill tod us that a truck was coming Sunday morning. The last truck never showed up until 9PM on Sunday June 24th. We were told by Atkin the dispatcher for United that he was north of us at another stop. When the truck arrived, it took the balance of all the itemds mentioned in the beginning which still have not arrived, along with 7 other boxes from the first pick up on Friday June 22nd. I took pictures of the truck, license plates etc and leaned that the truck was rented from Galloway, NJ area code 609 which is down by Alantic City which is 172 miles away.

We left on Monday June 25th an made our way to our new destination Irving, Texas. It took nearly 3 phone calls to find out when the truck was leaving.
Our items left on Wednesday 6/27 and we were told they would arrive on Friday 6/29th. They did not. After calling United and North America I was givin the driver cell number. He told me he would be arriving on Saturday June 30th in the morning which he did.

He requested thw balance of our items before he unloaded and when we questioned him and wanted him to unload first he threatened he would leave and we would not see our items. On theback of hios truck was a large blue Tarp with what we thought were his carts and hand trucks. What the were was our personal belongingm driven 1600 miles through many rain storms.

Our queen size mattress set was soaked and soiled along with our Antique cherry headboard and foot boards. The driver pretneded like it was OK?

As 1/2 the truck was unloaded we realized that Key furniture items were not present, and we were told that truck had another delivery after ours. We were promissed from Everyone , from both companies that we would be occupying the entire truck. This meant only one thing, we had items left behind! When I called and spoke to Bill in North America he pretended as if he did not know along with Izzy the team leader.

This means he wrongfully took the balance from us knowing that all our furniture and belongings were not on the truck. In addition we were charged based on a full truck load which we did not recieve. The driver also wanted all the Blue blankets that were on all our items. His helpers were not movers and he picked them up on the road to assist him.

In addition, North America paper work to us said they were to disassemble and re-assemble. They did not. we had to remove all the blankets ourselves.
I began my phone calls all day Saturday, all day Sunday and no one returned my phone call. I managed to get "Izzy" on the phone who seemed conerned and prommissed me some answeres. After 4 hours went buy, he stopped returning our calls. On Monday I called North America I called United, and was given " Mikes" number. The person that gaves us the number claims Mike was to call us to tell us there was going to be a split delivery. Which was never true nor ever took place. This same person Bill -President of North America told me my items were laready on a truck and is somewhere in Texas.
I called Mike and he said our items were still in NJ? He told me everything was getting on a Truck on Tuesday July 3rd and the driver would call us as the first one did. After no call came through we had to wait till Thursday because of the holiday. On Thursday " Mike" said their was a problem and that all our items were leaving. He told me the drivers name was Azzi to shut me up and he would call. No one called, and on Saturday I spoke again to Bill at North America he promissies me he never had a problem with this company before.

I called "Mike" this morning and he pretended not too know me. Through this entire ordeal both my friend and I had to make all the phone calls to both companies from our cell phones. Only twice did I receive phone call back and it was from the receptionist.
Where can wego from here. At this point I realize we will not be getting out items that meant alot to us and nor do these companies care.
