United Parcel Shipping UPS Lost a package Atlanta, Georgia

Package was sent from the UK to me.  It arrived at the UPS Hub in Mesquite, Texas on 8/16/2010 at 4:25 am and out for delivery at 8:02 am.  As of 10:30 pm on 8/17/2010 there has been no delivery of my package.  My local Post Office asked the UPS delivery person if he had the package(it was suppose to be delivered to a different address, but my post office agreed to take it if he had it, I wanted it out of UPS hands as quick as possible) he said yes it's on his log but when he went to get the package from his truck it was no where to be found. It has been out for delivery for 2 1/2 days and the so called UPS customer service has no idea where it could be.  My opinion, the driver took it, packages are logged on the drivers logs as they are put in the truck, so what happened to my package?  The company that shipped my item waits 25 days before they reship, plus it was a special made order so I will also have to wait that time frame, looking at approx. 30 days before I will receive my item.

It amazes me that a multi million dollar corp has this type of customer service.
