There "needs" to be something done about such shabby, & very slow service from US Mail Service. 'Cause right now ....they're (USPS) very inefficient, & may have "lost" some very important mail which was mailed out on the sameday (June 4, 2010), as other mail sent to & received in Washington, D.C. on last wk. (June 9, 2010). And this other mail (was also sent out Registered & Priority Mail...almost $16.00 fees), was properly addressed to go to its destination in Austin, TX; & yet still hasn't been received...as of today,June 16, 2010. (I've even complained to USPS (thru email) but nobody has gotten back in touch w/ me about this matter.) I'm "fearful" that either the "registered & priority" pkg. going to Austin, TX has either gotten lost, or else USPS has taken the long route there.....from Anniston, AL.
USPS pays their employees enough for each customer to get "better"service than we're getting too. (They need to be held "accountable for their wrongful actions (losing mail, or "careless" slow mail when we pay "extra" for priority/ registered mail too).

May I suggest that you may want to file a formal complaint with the Postal Service Inspector General's office in this matter. I've had a similar experience with Priority Mail failing to be delivered and the local post office giving me one excuse after another.
After filing a formal complaint with the IG's office...the postmaster of the post office involved called the next day, finally getting off her duff and began performing the job she should have been doing already! Do NOT let this just slide by! SPEAK UP!
