 Unity Place of Monmouth did a turn key operation with Guiding Light Behavorial Health. The owner is Jerry Tischler who is a nasty person. He broke the state and federal law by firing a senior, a protected population in the workforce. There was death in the immediate family and when that person came back there was no job. The director Lorraine Laura text former employee and said I hired some one to take your place. That someone was in her twenties and the former employee in the 60s. Age discrimination according to the civil rights division in trenton nj. Jerry Tischler refused to grant the Fmla application. What a scumbag! The end result was death of a loved one and have no job. The assistant director, Nicole Williams harassed this senior seg deal times. Harrassment in the workplace!

That employee was fired wrongfully. When a family member is dying one should be allowed to take care of them to the end. It's state and federal law. Look it up ya think you are so smart!!!! However another employee went through the same situation but was not fired! That's called discrimination and favoritism for one employee. Read nj state statutes to include federal before u open your big mouth. Get the correct story then make a statement. The complaint is already filed in the federal court. LOL.....see ya the hearing.

 The employee did not take off to grieve!!! Get your story straight! The employee did take off to care for family member and that person died after a 2 week period. Don't worry....it's already been filed in the civil rights court. Way ahead of you buddy.

 Its is NOT illegal to fire a senior. YOU are confused Im sure. Its NOT illegal to fire a senior especially when that senior DID NOT show up for thier shift. Its called JOB ABANDONMENT!!!! It has ZERO to deal with the FMLA!! There is a RIGHT WAY and a WRONG WAY to handle someones death. The FMLA is designed for those situations where a MEDICAL ISSUE needs to be taken care of. NOT to be used because someone has passed away and that person NEEDS to time off to grieve. THAT is called bereievment time off. Funny how YOU a person that has ZERO interest in the situation has come on a MEDIA OUTLET and gave THIRD PARTY or HEARSAY information and NOT expect to get sued!!!NOT A RIPOFF TO BE FIRED FOR NOT SHOWING UP FOR WORK!!!! What YOU have done is defamation and that company would be well within thier rights to take YOU to court and SUE YOU for everything YOU own. Didnt YOU even READ what was posted on the top page of this site about defamation?? No, WHY would ANYONE expect YOU to do ANYTHING to protect yourself when YOU cant even be HONEST on a web site.
