I responded to an add in the Alton Telegraph which caught my eye because in big letters it read jobs, jobs, jobs St. Louis company expanding in the st. Louis area including Alton all positions available call 314-878-5822.

Well the next day after seeing that ad in the paper I decide to call cause after I've been turned down by so many jobs I expecting to here a no anyways, but immediately this lady answers the phone I explain that I am calling about the job she tells me the only position available is entry level management she ask me a couple questions like are you atleast 18 and willing to work full time I answer yes she ask do you have your own car again I answer yes, she explains they are located in Maryland Heights and sets me up with an appointment thats in 3 hours which I don't live that close so I agree to be there.

The first interview I walked in and immediately was greeted by the receptionist which has music playing and she is very energeticand smiles, talking loudly and fast. she ask me to print in so of course I do.

After about 5 minutes of waiting this lady introduces herself to me as Sara and ask me to come in her office and also invites this other person in her office at the same time as me which of course I thought it was strange since we were both applying for the job but of course I go along with it.

After I enter her office she reads over me application real quick I don't really think she even read my resume to tell you the truth. Then she explains that she does not hire someone in the first interview but then she goes on to small talk and the whole time this woman is talking very loud and very fast I could hardly understand her, well after maybe 10 minutes she tell me I can go and to be sure to call her between 3:00 & 3:30.

I go home and I call and I am told that I did great in the interview, that they loved my personalty and they want me to come back tomorrow for my 2nd interview. the next day when I show up for the interview I see the reception area full of people which I think is strange but I go along man was I stupid.

they invited us back to a room that kinda reminds me of an old school room that lets just tell you it was plain ugly and we watch an Austin Powers movie waiting on others to show up for the interview.

When everyone is finally there the director Richard starts basically talking to us like we are students and we are all told to take notes and to have bubbly personalities and also to have good attitudes over and over. well he goes on to tell us during training we will be making 200.00-500.00 a week and when we get our own office we will be making 35,000- 45,000 a year. we are told we do not have to put any money out. after the interview we are told to call between 3:00-3:30 and we will know if we have the job or not.

I go home immediately make the call and Richard answers and tells me I have the job, I start tomorrow well then he goes on to tell me he likes my personality and so on and so on. well when I show up to work the next day I find out you have to sale so many fragrances for a bonus which for five it was 35.00 for 10 it was 50.00 and so on. well I sale I few but one of my family members tell me that it is a knock off brand and not the real thing so I start getting real Leary.

My second day at work I am told by Jez that we are independent distributer's and we only make money on profits, and I am advised to check out there phone number by another person they explain that it will prove this is all a scam so here I am broke jobless and even worse off then I was before because I have wasted over a hundred dollars in gas. but I am trying to find a way to make this company pay so I am looking for anybody else who has been scammed to email me and for the guy that had warned me about that company and said to check the number and it will prove its a scam to also email me so we can stand up and make this company pay I already have one person besides me that will be willing to stand up against this company so here is my email.Thanks for reading
