When a representative from UG&E comes to your door, SLAM IT IN THEIR FACE!

They will try and talk up their "company" like it is going to save you SOOO much money, when in all actuality, they lie to your face, and get you to sign the contract so you are locked in for FIVE YEARS!! The other option to paying the extra fee on your electric bill each month from them is to pay at least $250 for an early termination fee, which is ludacris!

The representative we dealt with told us to LIE and say we were married to get this "DEAL" and even though my boyfriend's name was on the Consumers bill and he never verified he wanted to enroll into this program, they did it anyway, and told us they had a phone call with him verifying everything to them recorded. After getting the run-a-round, they finally emailed it to ME, and guess whose voice it was...MINE! This company lacks everything from integrity to a backbone! If they can't be honest with us, imagine how their families must feel dealing with scumbags as relatives!!

To sum this up, instead of just venting about how ridiculous this scam is: DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY, and if you already have, BACK OUT BEFORE 30 DAYS OF SIGNING the contract. You will save money by not listening to them, take it from me! We finally saved up the $250 and got them off our backs. Hopefully it hasn't gotten that far for you!
