I have never dealt with such unprofessional company before. I cannot believe that they are even allowed to operate in this country.

Alter signing up with Universal Premium Fleet Card I was told that everything is free and as long as my payments are on time there will never be any fees. I was also told to make sure to make my payments on line to avoid late fees in case the US mail took too long.

I made my first payment on line on 3/19/2014, the money was taken out of my bank account on 3/24/2014. As of today 4/17/2014 the payment still has not been posted to my account with Universal Premium Fleet Card. I have called customer service every day since 3/24/2014 and still can’t get any answers. They have no idea what happened to it. I had to prove that there was a withdrawal made by them from my bank account, which I did and still no answers. I have asked to speak to a manager and was told that a manager will call me back. No surprise there was never a call back from anyone. I e-mailed customer service and my sales rep and still no answers back.

I asked customer service for a statement/invoice or some kind of bill to show me my due amount and payments made and was told that their system would not allow that for another 2 weeks. How do they expect you to pay a bill when they can’t provide you with a bill? But when the bill finally arrives the late fees are unbelievable. It seems to me that this is their way of making money. Just don’t send invoices or tell customers that they are unavailable and then charge late fees. I would think this is illegal.

I called today and told them to close my account, the rep I spoke to was happy to do it, but after I fill out paperwork and e-mail it back. I tried cancelling all my bank information from their website, but it wouldn’t let me delete it. I finally called my bank and stopped any future withdrawals from my account by this company.

It seems to me that either the customer service reps don’t care about helping and are there just to fill a seat and get paid their hourly wage or they are just very poorly trained. If you are thinking about going with this company for your fuel card need, please think twice. It will cost you time, money and lots of aggravation.

The cards are Universal Premium FleetCard “MasterCard” cards and I cannot believe that MasterCard would partner up and do business with Universal Premium Fleet Card. They are destroying MasterCard reputation by treating their customers like crap, charging unbelievable fees for their own mistakes and plain ripping us off.
