Universal Tax Services LLC Orlando/ Petra Herrerra Tax Preparer Fraud Orlando Florida

I have been a customer of Universal Tax Services LLC in Orlando, FL for the past 4 years. I went into the WinterGarden office and spoke to Petra Herrera the owner and she prepared my tax return for me using my SSA 1099. She told me that I was able to file my returns and also utilize the EIC since I had four dependents. I even heard her ask someone how to do certain things and she reassured me that all will be well.

Since I never had an issue I kept using them, until.... the SSA wrote me and asked me about my the income I had reported. I stated that the only income I had was SSD. Everything was fine until, today 4/21/14, I received a call from the SSA stating that I am reporting income that is not considered SSD on my returns therefore, my benefits may cease as well as I will have to possible amend my returns for three years and the owe the IRS!!

I then looked up the company on the internet and found that they also have other rip-off reports. Something must be done to stop these crimes. I also had a hard time reaching them by phone and also they did not sign my return, they only printed their information after they charged me $455 each time. Now, this is a real crime. They need to be shut down and help accountable for their crimes!
