Universal Transport IF YOU WANT AN HONEST AND DEPENDABLE TRANSPORT COMPANY, "DON'T USE THIS ONE"! North Miami , Florida

This person, Jay Caprio call us from Universal Transport ( Auto Brokers) on Monday morning to offer us a quote on transporting a car we purchased from McAllen, Tx to Texas City, Tx. He gave us reasonable price of $275. We agreed on the price with $125 deposit. 

Jay guaranteed the delivery of the car in one day and also door to door service. He said that they would notify us upon pickup and delivery. We didn't get a call from them on Monday, so we called and talked to the dispatcher, Eli. He couldn't give us any information that was helpful. I told him we were near Houston in case he didn't know where Texas City was. Didn't hear anything Tuesday either.

On Wednesday, After calling the dealership in McAllen, we found out that the car had actually been picked up that Tuesday evening. We were never notified about anything! Eli lied and said that we confirmed that we were going to  pick up the car in Houston. Where? He himself couldn't even tell us. We never changed our drop off location. That was a way of trying to charge us more money for having to come to Texas City. 

I finally got the phone number of the driver and talked to him. Eli had him driving only into Houston. He gave him some made up address in Houston that was suppose to be mine. My contract specifically shows my address in TC. The balance due on delivery is $150. Eli called and said that since we changed drop off locations,  the price will be $225 now!  I seriously feel Eli need a brain check! When I first spoke with him, I knew  there was something strange about him. To keep from going thru anything like we did, trust me, "Dont Use these people"! Also.. We Still Have Not Heard From Jay Caprio!!!!
