**AOL recommended this site for downloads. I'd pay a dollar a month and then I got my billing statement a month later for 42.00.

I thinking now after reading the website to call the credit card and go to the IFCC.

I couldn't have said it better. I am a victim of NHS as well. It's been going on now for 5 months. I made my report last night, 2/23/05, and copied and pasted it into an email to support@newhealthysavings.com and I demanded my money back AGAIN. I am going to take your advice and make complaints on the websites you mentioned. I am definitely going to keep giving NHS Hell!

Randy : What the?!

AUTHOR: Connie - (U.S.A.)

Randy:

I'm one of the many (and I mean many) that have been ripped off by NHS/freemusicoutletonline. I'd like to point out a few things . . .

First off, It's not a matter of eating the $48 and sucking it up ~ they continue to charge you, perhaps even trade credit card numbers among sister companies.

Secondly, we have the right to demand compensation. We were offered products or services for a fee. We paid the fee and received nothing for it. In many cases, we were volunteered for services that we did not ask for or want (such as the military member's wife receiving a health care discount card? ~ as a former AF wife, I know that their health care is not only free but is also d**n good). Just as you wouldn't go to Walmart, pay for your purchases and let the company keep your money AND goods, we're not either. Not one single mp3 or music clip was to found at that "free music site" ~ I paid for music and I got bupkiss!

Thirdly, don't you think that we're a bit torqued off? It's a rude slap in the face when you discover charges on your checkcard or charge card for purchases you didn't even make and find that short of killing your card, you're helpless to stop them! Too, the process to dispute is long and a pain in the keister. And why should we allow others to suffer as we did? We need to get these guys either put out of business or put in jail (or both).

Now as for me, I've killed my credit card account and have a new card on the way. I'm in the process of disputing the charges with my bank. I've contacted those jokers demanding my money back. I've already complained with the IFCC (www.ifcc.gov), the ftc (www.ftc.gov), my local police agency, and my bank. If anyone reading this has been stung by NHS or free music or SGADA, I urge you to visit those websites and complain!! The more of us complain, the more that can be done to help us and help others!!

Have a wonderful day, support this site, and give'em Hell at NHS!!

u can get a refund - the callers out there do give a runaround

to whom it may concern , i have been a continious observer of the ripoff report against NHS made by my fellow americans. first of all i pity u people becuz u dont know what exactly u r doin. just because someone offers u free downloads does not mean it is for free. trust me i have been using such sites for a long time and they usually charge u some signing up fee. some reports on NHS a.k.a. freedownloads.com or whatever is the site say that they charge u $48 but say it is for $1, means it is for 4 years. (48months X $1).the callers out there do give a runaround. now this might be very hard 4 u people, if u have lost $48 u have 2 live with it there is no need 2 cry over this matter. make sure next time when u r on the net try 2 forget ur card number. this is very shady business and let me tell u in my views there is some Government backing behind these people or else they would have been caught and ppunished long time back. trust me Attorney General does nnot have time 2 fight for ur $48 and neither does the BBB. they r being bribed. Guys and my fellow net surfers please next time u find the word free out there DO NOT SIGN UP>
