Contacted Technical Support number referenced on my purchase confirmation email for the PDF software downloads. Explained what my messages were in attempting the download. I was on the phone with him for 1 hour and he eventually took control of my computer (mouse) saying it was necessary so he could see what was wrong in my computer (I took photos of his actions while he searched my computer depths).

He (David) was showing me what he described as "foreign IP addresses" .... "107 processers running when it should only be 10-12" Using words such as "unbelievable" and that someones were running processers to access my computer". I was in shock and terribly upset since I'd only had my new computer for 1 week.

He then explained that I need a certified Microsoft techie to fix the security issue and it would be very costly ($70-$80/hr.) using one outside the call. And that he could do it right then for $350 but if I thought about it and called back the price would be $550, pressuring that it NEEDED to be done as it wasn't safe to even run my computer.

I told him I was very upset and that I don't make decisions under duress and wanted Billing to issue a full refund since I was unable to use the product purchased. After some arguing he transferred me. I explained to the woman in billing what had just occured with Technical Support and that we could not resolve getting the s/w downloaded due to my computer apparently was compromised.

She then told me that it was the WRONG Technical Support person I spoke with for the last hour and that she would transfer me to the CORRECT one that will solve my problem. After debating and explaining that the WRONG Technical Support person took advantage of taking control and entering my computer privacy, manipulating it and seeing all.... she transfered me anyway.

The new Tech Support person in less than 5 minutes explained that it was simply me trying to download through Internet Explorer (using Windows 10) and that I just needed to download Mozilla or Chrome.

Because of what the first Techie told me I was too afraid to open my computer again until I was able to get together (bringing him my computer) with a friend I used to work with at a Internet Security Company. He is at the highest level of the company and looked at every aspect of my computer saying there is absolutely nothing wrong, nothing unusual, no foreign IP addresses, no unusual running processers,.....and that I was basically scammed.
