US Directory Yellow Pages Yellow Pages Yellow Pages is Ripping off Customers. Worst Customer Service EVER! Boca Raton, Florida

We are a new Electrical Contracting business in the Seattle, WA area and I received a US Mail solicitation from US Directory Yellow Pages to list our business. I signed up for $297 for six months and made the necessary corrections to our listing profile and mailed it back to them.

Within a couple weeks I received a bill from US Directory Yellow Pages which still has all the wrong information on it. we are in Seattle and it listed us in Florida. It also had our service industry wrong. I returned the bill via fax and US Mail and asked that our listing profile be corrected and then I would gladly pay the bill. why would i pay for something that is not correct.

I never received a response back from US Directory Yellow Pages, however I did receive two bills on the same day demanding payment or it would be sent to collection. REALLY! One day later I received a call from a collection agency demanding payment for $381.08, for my past due account. I called the collection agency and tried to reason, stating that I did not pay this since my listing profile was incorrect and US Directory Yellow Pages never responded or made an attempt to correct it. I explained that once it is corrected that I will pay the bill. The collection agents response was you better get an attorney, have a good day and hung up on me without even listening to what is a reasonable request.

I then contacted US Directory Yellow Pages and spoke with them and explained. is all they could do is apologize over and over again and said they had a batch of addresses that had incorrect listings, however they could not do anything to help since it was turned over to the collection agency. I then asked for a supervisor who gave me the same story and ackowledged the listing was wrong, however there is nothing she could do to reimburse late fees or collection agency fees. Today i received a letter from the collection agency demanding payment or legal action will be take. at this writing I have a call into them again. I suspect it will not go well.

I have been in the service industry for 30 years and would never even think of treating a customer like this.

US Directory Yellow Pages  is a classic ROYAL RIP-OFF and I will NEVER even think of using them again.
