US National Bank - Legal Affidavid Office EASY WAY TO GET SCAMMED BY THIS SO CALLED Legal Affidavid Office Dallas California

I was contacted by a gentleman with a thick accent on Thursday after about 4:15pm 9/25/08, whom idendified himself as Steve and that he was from Legal Affidavit Office.

He stated he wanted to confirm the last 4 digits of my social security number. I unfornatley confirmed my last 4 digits thinking he was actually an employee of this company.

He then explained that I was being sued by 1st National Bank. I asked him for their telephone number because I had no earthly idea who they were or why I was being sued. He then in a very persistant and rude way advised me that he could not give that to me because I already had an law suit pending against me and because of that they would not speak to me. I explained to him that yes i had some loans with online companies but my accounts were all in good standing.

I asked for the original amount, he told me I owed 1,095.00 including fees and if the legal documents they were filing today were filed it could go as high as $5,000 or $6,000. I again argued, I never take payloans higher than 500.00 and was sure I owed no one.

I then asked for number that I could contact him at once I spoke to a lawyer. He gave me 619-342-0094. I have already contatacted my bank to place a "Fraud Alert" on my account and I have contact an lawyer to make sure they take no futher action. I also called all the companies that I have done or that I'm currently doing business with and I am in good standing. I then called their company back and asked to speak with a manager and the male who answered would not transfer me.

Please be very careful this does not happen to you.
