US Office & Industrial Supply False Information on product, shipping and billing Reseda California

In July 2008 I received a call from "Lin" who said that she was with Industrial Supply. She quoted me some stretch wrap at $39/case with 4 rolls to a case. That included shipping and tax and I would be locked into that price for a year.

I went to call them back the first week in August 8th and the gentleman that answered said "US Supply". I asked if it was Industrial Supply. He informed me that it is US Office & Industrial Supply. I ordered one case (4 rolls) for $39 that included shipping.

On August 11th I received two boxes that contained 8 rolls of stretch wrap. The pack slip indicated they had shipped 1/2 case. I called customer service the next morning and spoke with Jack. He asked what I would like to happen. I informed him I only orded 1 case and that we do not use this product a lot. He said that he would give me the 8 rolls for a total of $50.00. I said that was fine but not to expect an order from us for a really long time.

I received the adjusted statment via fax. The charges showed $239.98 for the 1/2 case, freight charge $42.91. There is an adjustment of $232.89 for final billing of $50.00

My office manager informed me that this was not the first time they had ripped us off. 3 years ago the would call to check on things then a package would just show up.

If anymore packages show up from them I plan on refusing the shipment on the spot.
