USA Auto Club, Sensible Shopper, Merchant 8007795902AAD Promise of $100 Walmart Gift Card leads to Fraudulent Credit Card Charges and Harassing Phone Calls Tampa Florida

This company introduced itself to me as a shoppers discount program. I was offered a $100 Walmart gift card for charges of $6.95 for signing up. My credit card information was released to other companies, signing me up for subscriptions and products that I did not order. I was able to contact all of these companies, as they were legit, and get my money back.

When I tried to contact the original scammers I was unable to get a phone number that actually worked. They charged a total of $3.95 to my card. I closed my credit card for fear they would try to charge it again. Everything was fine for 6 months, but yesterday they began to call my phone again.

They have now called 4 times in the past 24 hours threatening me. They want me to verify my card number for full cancelation. Of coarse this time I had done my research and was not going to be scammed so easily. I asked for the full company name and phone number from each caller and was quickly hung up on. They told me that they are going to charge my card $89.00 for subscription fees. I told them the card was canceled. They stated that they have contacted my bank for new card information. Legally banks cannot give out account information to third parties, so I know this was a lie.

The number posted from Florida was the one that showed up on my credit card statement. I was also able to get one number that was not listed as unknown from one of the calls. It is a number from Indiana 317-559-5585. Please do NOT be ripped off my this company! This situation has become a complete nightmare. Total SCAM! I should have known, if it is to good to be true, it probably is.
