In April of 2005 I was did research on home based bussinesses. On 04-15-05 Mark Downing from USA Card services Called my home to see if I was interested in the \"Complete E-Bussiness Start -Up Program. Went through an interview process and was approved. I was faxed a contract which I had to quickly return in order to get started making money. I was assured support and coaching with goals of $5000 in sales of a month. Within the contract sent to me was a lease agreement with Ladco Global leasing for the lease of a Electronic credit Card Processor. I asked why I needed it, because I was only interested in online sales. They insisted I get it because I would need it as my bussiness grew, and would virtually pay for itself. I signed all the paperwork faxed it back , and set to start my online bussiness and complete their online training course.

In their contract I was to Pay $139.00 monthly for the venture. $109.78 was to pay for the lease of the equiptment, the rest was for Ipayment, E Commerce exchange services. For the next 2 Months I worked hard to do the research, set up web site, and get everything running right. Including opening a Small Bussiness account to be able to receive and make payments. This is also around the time I stopped hearing from my \"Success Coach\" Jason Langford which I spoke to more than once a week for the first month, he would call to check on my progress and instruct me on upcoming tasks. In June the website went live on the internet. The site was getting no traffic, and I was putting money out of my pocket to pay for all this. I called my success coach repeatedly, sent emails and spoke to USA card services Cust Service to locate my coach or to replace him. I needed questions answered and all I kept getting were excuses why they couldnt get back to me. For the next 2 months I worked on paid advertising for my site, maxed out all my credit cards triying to generate sales. Every so often tried calling Mr Langford but unlike in the begining he would personally anwer the phone, now I just leave him Emails or voice mails. I dont get any reply. On September I wound up closing the Small Bussiness Account. The Lack of Sales, Income, additional service charges and recuring charges made it impossible to keep the account. I called USA Card services to cancel my membership and was told they could do nothing about the lease of the Equiptment, which is still unused and in the box. It has been close to six months and the website generated NO money. I simply can't afford it any longer, I have a family to care for and dont have barely enough money to make ends meet.

I feel I was greatly misled by USA Card Services, They did not perform their support and coaching. They only gave support when it was convienient for them. But when the going got tough the so called coaches were nowhere to be found. Now the lease of the credit card equiptment is supposedly non cancelable and owe around $6,000 in late fees and penalties. Ladco/Globaltech won't accept return of brand new still in the box equiptment.

Most recently Jason Langford E mails me to offer help if my web bussiness has not succeded. He E mails me from The Summit Marketing Institute which just happens to have the same address as USA Card services in Texas. I believe that these companies are partnered only for the purpose of preying on unsuspecting people that are trying to work hard to get ahead legitimately. Using their high tech scam to cheat people . By the way The Better Bussiness Bureau ahd good ratings for them on their site.

Build A Bridge And Get Over It

AUTHOR: I3r4d - (U.S.A.)

To be completely honest, you are all just ignorant to that fact that you DID NOT READ WHAT YOU SIGNED. Dont blame it on the company thats taking advantage of your blatant stupidity, blame yourself. A snazzy salesman came into your shop saying that they're offering you "the best deal in town". While they talk fast and use big words or just say to leave all the work up to them, you sign away blindly without actually stopping and taking a look at what you're actually agreeing to.

Now as an intelligent, sophisticated business owner that you are, you're EXPECTED to read the agreement that you're accepting. I could tell you that i'm going to give you every bit of money that my entire company makes until i'm blue in the face, but on paper it could actually say that you're paying me every dime you make. You sign your name blindly to a complete stranger who happens to be promising to solve all your problems. How great of a business decision is that? And you wonder why your small businesses are failing. Put your violins away.

Lastly- When you threaten legal action to any company, make sure you read their terms of service. Keep in mind that numerous attorneys have written this contract, that you paid no attention to, to get exactly what they want which is obviously your money. Enjoy your lease agreement! :)

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

You are on the right track... Not only are USA Card Services and Summit Marketing Institute located in the same place; they are owned by the same company.

Not only are USA Card Services and Summit Marketing Institute located in the same place; they are owned by the same company. There are a couple others involved too. So if a company (I won't name it specifically) calls you to help you find a home business and recommends USA Card Services, then I will assure you that it is not only owned by the same company, but the sales people for that company and USA Card Services sit behind eachother. There is at least one more "company" involved. They will contact you and try to sell you upgrades to help your business take off; since most of them never do any business. So beware, they are out to get the most out of their customers since they don't make any significant amount of money off of credit card processing.

This company used to be really great. They did everything possible for their customers, but everything changed around the beginning of last summer. They got greedy and wanted to boost sales; which they did. That's great and all until you have too many clients and you don't increase your customer service department an equal amount. The coaches talked about in the report above my response are excellent at what they do, but there are too many customers now and they don't even offer coaching anymore. In fact, the salespeople are not even allowed to mention the word coaching.

The guy that started the company is a great man and has a passion for helping people and doing what is right. But he seems to be shielded from what is really going on there. If he REALLY knows what's going on, I will truly be shocked.

This company should take a step back and take care of their customers and employees (like they used to) before taking care of their pocket books or five year business plan.
