USA Card Services / Startup Essentials / A-1 Leasing Tricked into lease by bad business practices -- deceptive and dishonorable companys prey on down and out Dallas Texas

I was solicited by a very sweet talking Dave Dewitt of Start up Essentials. He asked me about my dreams of financial freedom and how much time I was willing to invest to make them come true. He made me believe that his company would walk me through the process and that my commitment would ensure my success as it had for countless others.
I listened with hope to all his promises and agreed to "apply" for the opportunity. This was not a program easy to get into and I was made to believe that I was special and trainable and wouldn't you know... they selected me!!!
Not long after I was lead into a phone call locking me into a lease with A-1 Leasing that I cant even read because it was faxed to me... I told the agent at the time that I did not need a computer but she was machine like and i was Gullible so I signed it and sent it in with information on my personal checking account.
To make a long story short my attempt at success was a bust. The computer was not as easy as I thought it would be, and although my situation was hard because i am not a tech type, and on dial up... the fact that I only could devote 2 hours a day to the program hindered my ability to suceed.
I find myself mad mostly because Dave promised me under the guise of his company that 2 hours a day was fine... people were doing it... but as I began my journey I was told over and over I needed more time, more commitment... I did talk to Dave many more times and email also almost weekly, between the hundreds of calls I made to the support lines, he only boomed back at me to not give up, keep trying.... he did not listen to me, to my struggles and to the problems I was having with the computer- he stated it was not the equiptment that was defective but my abilty to consentrate. Ultimately I stopped using the computer... which i never wanted anyway...but was told it was part of the deal... I am now paying a lease for equiptment that has not worked since November of 2006. My account is debited monthly and I am no longer able to reach any of the support lines or Dave who is now gone.
Yesterday I spoke with an agent of USA Card Services who told me that they are no longer afiliated with Startup Essentials, that I had free services with them as part of my contract but that ended after the first year. They told me they have nothing to do with my lease and dont collect any money from me.
My advice to all those out there is not to buy into any home business opportunitys that cost you money.... or require your bank info.
Sad to say but there are just too many sharks out there, using our dreams to line their pockets. And for any of you out there who are currently preying, I will say this... what you do to others, will be done to you
I am closing my bank account, it is the only choice I have. I can not affort this lease, these payments, and although I do take the responsibilty of being naieve I also realize that God helps those who help themselves...
I have sent my computer back in the mail to the address of A1 Leasing as it is no longer working. I do anticipate them calling me to collect--- and I dont know how I will respond to them but I do know that I am done with this.
