USA Screens Andre Chestnut took deposit. never did work or permit Internet

Hey Robert, glad he did a good job for you. I never said he did not do good work. He actually did a great job on one property which is why we contracted with him to do work on two more properties. We even referred him to another owner who contracted with him and has had delays and problems as well. We also referred him to the association and the association gave him work. He unfortunately did not do that work.

Anyhow my issue is that we gave a deposit of over 3k. I feel seven months is waiting long enough. Andre does not communicate with us and therefore has refused to refund our deposit. He has not obtained the permit or purchased the materials. So refunding our monies should be standard. We still have to go find another company to do the work we would like done.

Also, I would not state they are a great company if they have been in business for less than one year. You can state they do great work, as you mentioned they did for you. Unfortunately they did not for us and refuses to refund monies or communicate and therefore has required legal expenses and further actions by me.

You can check me out all you want. Just go to the City of Tamarac and look for the permit applications by him and you will see I am accurate. If I changed my mind and could not afford what was contracted for this would be a different case. Unfortunately, taking a deposit and not doing the work or refunding the deposit is theft.

Our experience with USA Screens was excellent. Andre Chestnut did an outstanding job at a great price. We are very pleased. It is a small company that has done many of our neighbors, we are very surprised that anyone has said something derogatory.

This may be just another situation  where people are using the internet to manipulate a situation because they can't afford a job they started, that's really sad and unfair. Mr. Chestnut is a single dad of three and a member of our church, I'll bet there is a lot more to this Larry guy, than what he's putting on this site. Maybe somebody should check into him.  Robert
