We attended a seminar in Lexington, Ky and purchased the website, went for "training" which ended up being another sales pitch. However, we purchased the distributorship package, came home, checked with the Better Business Bureau in Utah, found a satisfactory rating so I went to work. I spent hours doing research, etc.

I received a call from Jeff Williams from Usight, offering a "Success Team" package, which included 60,000 guaranteed hits, formation of a sub chapter s corporation, a review of my last three years tax returns, a professionally design website, and 15 professional marketing consultation sessions.

I questioned him if the 60,000 guaranteed hits were pop up ads and he assured me they were not, and even agreed with me that they were annoying and not very effective. He said with their leads they have tracted and verified a 4% confirmed sales history. I should have noticed the red flags going up, but since I have checked them out with the BBB, I had a certain level of comfort. To make a long story short, I purchased his package.

In the next few weeks, I was working to develop my website, budgeting my promotional expenses, etc. I called to talk to Mr. Williams to confirm my information and was forwarded to his voice mail. I left a message and received no call. I called again, and asked for him and was forwarded to "customer service" and was told that "afew of the guys had transferred to a different building", I asked to speak to Mr. Adam Oliver, the gentleman that confirmed and "approved" my acceptance into the program the night Mr. Williams initially called.

He, too, had transferred. I asked for a new number that I could reach them, and was told they did not have one. Finally, I pressed the issue and was told they were no longer with the company.

I called Usight support and spoke with Ted. I was able to get him to confirm that the 60,000 hits were, in deed, pop up ads and that they had no history of their effectiveness. I expressed to him that I was not happy with the program and wanted to cancel the service. This was on May 12th and I have been on the phone with them daily, with no resolution and no closer to resolution. I have found out:

Mr. Williams and Mr. Oliver worked for Marketing Solutions International, which is apparently a subsidiary of Usight

Usight claims they are a separate company

They referred my credit card number to a company called Money Mastery, which signed me up for a monthly membership to their service and was going to charge my card $29.95 month, without my authorization

When the charges came on my card, they were posted by Money Mastery, not Usight

After demanding an itemized list of what was included in the "Success Team" package, I finally was provided one a week later, but it did not detail what was promised in the sales pitch, including the sub chapter s corporation. The amount on the itemization did not match what was charged on my card. Actually, it was about $700 less than what was actually charged.

Marketing Solutions International was forced to sign a cease and desist agreement with the Better Business Bureau of Utah because they were claiming to be a member and were not. This was in April of this year.

This organization is made up of layers of corporate corruption, apparently.

I have emailed Mr. Brandt Anderson, CEO of Usight asking him to respond to my request for a refund and I have contacted my credit card companies to dispute the charge. I have given him until close of business on May 27th to respond.

I would like to hear from anyone else experiencing problems with this company.

Reconsider that negotiation for your own safety

AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 19, 2003

I am simply suggesting you reconsider negotiating, because a lawsuit has been placed against this company. If you review letters in the Usight section, there is valuable information. They are about to be tried for alleged corruption. Have to say that, while court case is pending.

Not sure how much money you put in so far, but for vindication contact: the Consumer Protection Agency of the State of Utah". Contact Information: Name: Au Pauga, Utah Consumer Protection Agency, Herber M. Wells Building, 2nd Floor, 160 East 300 South, SM Box 14114-6704, phone: 801-530-6001, email: APauga@utah.gov, in addition contact: Jason Perry. This has been posted in a previous report filed a few days ahead of you in the category of Corrupt Companies, through keyword: USight. The letter was modified June 12, 2003, with several Consumer Suggestion Rebuttals. You may want to reconsider.

Usight, Marketing Solutions International

Today I regained hope that I can work this problem out with Mr. Andersen, CEO of Usight. Maybe I have prematurely misjudged him. If I am unable to reach an agreement, I will let you know, but based on our conversations, I am hopeful.
