To begin I received the following email headed " In response to you application" from careers@usmaworld.com to me

Dear Ranika ,

You have recently submitted your resume for an Account Representative position here at USMA. After reviewing your past skills and experience, we have considered you for a preliminary interview with our hiring manager.

USMA is looking to fill this entry-level, full-time position as soon as possible. We have already begun the interviewing process, please respond at your earliest convenience. Please contact the Human Resources Department and ask for Danielle to schedule an interview. The Human Resources Department can be reached at 909.483.3000.

Danielle Cleghorne Director of Human Resources Phone: 909.483.3000 Fax: 909.483.3019 Email: hr@usmaworld.com

I thought it was odd because I hadn't submitted an appliication to them but I called the number anyway. I told the receptionist Elizabeth that I was looking for Danielle ( who sent me the email). Elizabeth say oh no I sent you the email. Ok 1st red flag. So I agreed to come in for an interview which was scheduled for the next day. I came in and there were 6 other people waiting. I interviewed with Wanis he breifly told me that they contracted with AT&T and needed Account Reps to handle the customers for the "fortune 500" company. Wanis told me the salary was between 32 and 37k for entry level which interested me. I was asked to come back the next day for a second interview. I got to the office and was sent out with 3 people I had never met to a ruin neighborhood in Riverside. I was terrified. We walked around from 2pm until almost 9pm knocking on doors. No breaks or Lunch hour, just walking.

We got back to the office around 9:30 and I had to wait another 45 min to talk to Wanis. When we spoke he told me they liked my performance and I was hired. Seth... my guide for the day decided he would personally train. Me. Then Wanis starts going over compensation again. He said they pay 1000 net pay a month... that's 250 a week. Wow that blew me away. He then goes on to say they have other options which includes full commion. Which has a 2 week holding period. What happened to the verbal agreement the day befor.

This company is a rip off. Don't waste your time. I wish I could sue them for lying to me and wasting my time. Also for putting me in such danger.
