05/10/2012 Left vehicle at Valley Freightliner to have the generator connected to the main instrument cluster on the dash.  My instructions were If this is covered by the manufactures warranty perform the service.  If not covered by warranty I will need a phone call prior to performing any service.

05/10/2012 I was called by Dan Rogers to retrieve the vehicle.  He stated that the repair had been completed, the repair was not covered by warranty, and the cost was $900.00 of which more than $700.00 was for labor.  The service tech would not release the vehicle until I paid the invoice.  I paid the invoice under protest and began calling Valley Freightliner managers the following day.  The following are my results of my calls.

Tony called me at 11:15 a.m. today august 30th 2012 and had no idea of our previous conversations. He appeared not to
remember the conversations we had before about the $900 dollar invoice for hooking up the generator meter to the dash
console. I told him about the rejection letter from Winnebago and he asked that I send it to him he gave me a fax number.

09/19/2012 10:05am I called and  spoke with Jeff Britenbucker (Tony Evanoffs supervisor) who said he was leaving in two
hours for a Freightliner meeting but will find the email that I sent Tony and look at it in his hotel room later. I advised him that
it appears to me that I am being placated.

10/12/2012 3:30pm I called Jeff Britenbucker again about the $900 invoice for Valley Freightliner  to connect the Onan generator  to the dash cluster panel.  I reviewed, once again, what happened and the conversation that I had with Dan Rogers advising him that this should be a warranty issue and if it is not I would require a phone call prior to any work being done. Jeff asked me if I had the invoice number handy.

I advised him that I did not and he said that he would find it himself.  Jeff then ask me if he looked at the paperwork would I see anything on there where I gave permission for them to do this work. I advised him that I do not work there I do not know what it says on their copies or on your computer however if theres anywhere on there at work said I gave permission that is false.

No one called me prior to doing the work.
They only called me after the work has been completed. He suggested that since I paid the invoice that I was happy with the work and had no problems. I corrected him by stating this is not the case. The reason I paid the invoice is because if I did not pay it they were not going to release my coach to me. At this point he stated that that was true they would not have given me my coach without payment so why he even said this  makes no sense to me other than he was perhaps trying to dominate the
conversation and make  me think that since I paid for it I would have no recourse.

Jeff said that he would get together with Tony and Dan who was the original
service writer and discuss this to see what if anything they would do. He said
he would call me later today or first thing in the morning.

10/13/2012 Jeff called me to say they were not going to do anything about this.  He also said he did not care who I called or if I hired an attorney.
