Vanguard logistics is a Scam!

 I am another victim of the shady operation known as VANGUARD LOGISTICS SERVICES.

 I shipped a drum set from south Florida to my grandson in the United Kingdom (N. Wales).

It was such a hassle just to perform their “shipping Procedure.” I did not expect the nightmare that followed at the receiving end of my shipment in the UK.

My family receiving the shipment was bombarded with an unbelievable amount of “bogus” fees on a VANGUARD LOGISTICS SERVICES invoice.

The official Customs form VAT fee (only fee my family should have had to pay) was 153 GPB.

 However, the VANGUARD LOGISTICS SERVICES invoice displayed the Customs fees to be 184 GBP.

Additional invoice fees consisted of: Deferment fee? Documentation fee? Port Security fee?  Destination THC fee? Customs Clearance fee? and of course the “Hand Over Fee!”

The total of these bogus fees was a whopping $750 I had to reimburse to my family for the “gift” I sent them!

 Shipping and insurance at my end came to $681, so it cost $1431 to ship a $800 Drum set to my grandson.

 It is such a shame that shady companies such as VANGUARD LOGISTIC SERVICES,

along with their unscrupulous international cronies, are allowed to take advantage of people that

are in need to transport ordinary household goods.
