I totally agree with everything posted by previous people about this company.

I was hired on as an inside sale rep for this company and was shocked by the behavior of the management here. Their job advertisement claims that we would not be cold calling and would be contacting existing businesses interested in credit card processing.  Not true, we were calling people constantly sometimes six times a day trying to get in touch with them.  

The training was an absolute joke from beginning to end.  We were trained to call businesses "claiming" that we sent them a letter about a rate relief program offered by Visa and Mastercard.  Then, we spend the whole time trying to find out about the decision maker and get as much information as we can from some unsuspecting employee.  Then, we are supposed to "stalk" (this is the exact word my manager used) the owner or decision maker until we get them on the phone.  

The company itself engages in very shady activities.  They claim to have no cancellation fees, but if you read in the contract in small printing, there is a $700 cancellation fee if the customer cancels within the first two months. They claim that they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, but they aren't even signed up with them.  Go check them out at the BBB website!  

I noticed other irregularities between what they claim to offer and what their contract really says.  They employ used car salesman tactics to get the business owner to sign a contract that day without considering the pros or cons of switching services.

They tell their employees to be nice and pleasant on the phone, but if an employee uses high pressure sales tactics like speaking belligerently or shouting back at business owner, but they owner sends a statement; management has no trouble with that.  But if you act this way and the business owner does, be prepared to get your tail chewed out and get lectured about how to talk with customers.

I also witnessed how the company is getting into the cash advance game where they give you money in exchange for a certain amount from your credit card processing.  The game is get to the employee even more locked into the credit card company, so you can't switch even if you didn't like them.  

Their con is to get the owner approved as quickly as possible before the loan company denies them or discovers something isn't right.  Case in point, a business owner makes a request for $20,000 in a cash advance.  VMS sends it to the loan company and finds out the business owner is denied because he has 3 social security numbers!  What does VMS do?  They keep applying to other loan companies hoping to get the loan approved for the business regardless of this fact.

When I pointed out that this activity seemed shady, I was marched into HR the next day, told my sales scores were not adequate, and let go from the company (they was supposed to have a 90 day probationary period).  Talk about deceptive advertising for its employees.

I recommend staying away from these folks and not doing any business with them.  You'll save yourself a lot of time and headaches.
