Day 1, I'm sold extended warranty and told I have to buy it to get financing even though it's against the law to do that (60/75,000) Still under original manufacturers warranty. Sold me a product called PermaPlate. Was told that a primer was already applied to the vehicle so I had to come in for the final coat, $595. I left with my car very happy and the promise of financing approval and maybe even a lower interest rate, through GMAC.

Day 2,I go back to resign papers with lower interest rate, with general manager. I decided to get my own extended warranty and told them to take that off the contract. That's when all hell broke loose. The owner, the second in command and the general manager all started badgering me and using intimidation tactics to coerce me into keeping the warranty. I was finally told that the papers had already been sent in and that I would have to send in a cancellation request on my own to them. The second in command came back in and offered me a 60/100,000 for the same money ($2200) and I agreed. The general manager then filled out new paperwork. When he typed up the new warranty paper, somehow the wrong box was checked and I was not getting the MAJOR guard but the Value guard. He also had mentioned that he would be losing $400 on that deal. I signed and left because I was just so upset and exhausted from the bad experience.

The next couple of days I looked at the papers again and noticed my licence fee had gone up $3 and found that strange so I looked closer at the paperwork. I found that $400 had been added to the Cash accessories line of the contract which was for the permaplate, on the original contract it was $595. I went back in to tell the finance officer and the next day he stated he had made the mistake, that the PP was supposed to be $995. I told him that since it was an aftermarket product that I'm not paying $995 for that when I already agreed to pay $595. I signed a separate OWE paper for that. There is also a dent on the vehicle that was not disclosed to me before I purchased it and I didn't find it till the second day when my co-workers were looking at the vehicle. They agreed to fix it but didn't want to give me a replacement but have agreed to do that.

I started out very happy with my transaction, but somehow I am being targeted to be taken advantage of. All they want is my money. I am the one making the 6 year commitment.
